Meet Laura!
Born, raised and still living in Clearwater, Florida, Laura is known at STKDK as the ‘child whisperer.’ She has worked in pediatric dentistry for more than 22 years, and with Dr. Lauren for more than five years at two practices. Equipped with her EFDA certification – which for laypeople means ‘extremely fun dental assistant’ – she loves being goofy, singing, and eating Pane Rustica cupcakes. Her love for children – even her own, most of the time – is evident as she and her husband have five children between them ages 17, 17, 15, 13, and 12.

Meet Twila!
Twila is a beach-loving wife and momma to three sons ages 21, 17, and 16. An Idaho native, she recently moved to sunny Tampa with six years of dentistry experience and now leads the worship team at church. You’ll see her cheerful face behind the front desk at STKDK and – SSH! Don’t tell Dr. Lauren – LOVES chocolate. (But really, who doesn't?)
Meet Esther!
Esther joins the STKDK team already a pro with four – yes, FOUR! – little ones, three boys and one girl ranging from 1 to 9 years old, that she calls her own. So it’s no surprise she’s a rockstar EFDA- and orthodontic-certified pediatric dental assistant with six years of experience under her belt and a love for pediatric dentistry. Raised in South Tampa and an alumna of St. John’s Episcopal and Plant High, Esther is right at home here – literally.
Meet Briana!
An Expanded Functions Dental Assistant — or EFDA for short, Briana keeps the krewe laughing all day long. She's a sun-, animal- and food-lover who's lived in Florida for 20 years and calls it home. In her free time, she babysits for half of South Tampa, is always smiling and in a great mood, and loves to sing along with all the office movies, making her very popular with patients and parents alike!
Meet Kristin!
Kristin is an EFDA — Expanded Functions Dental Assistant — with her bachelor's in Allied Health from the University of Tampa. Originally from Pennsylvania, she's lived in Tampa for six years because she loves the weather, beaches and boating so much! FUN FACT: She's a triplet with two sisters who love to come to visit. Kristin loves kids because they always put a smile on her face, so she's a perfect addition to the Krewe!
